The Parks of Study and Reflection are places for meeting and for the spreading of a new spirituality that rejects all forms of violence and discrimination; a spirituality that appeals to the sacred dimension of the human mind to find freedom and meaning. Every human being, no matter their beliefs may participate in this emotional, moving and experiential path.
The Park is open to all who feel close to its spirit and aspirations. It is open every day from 10 am to 8 pm. Accommodation is available in the Centre Of Work for those attending multi-day seminars and retreats, and for those coming to the Park for a multi-day personal retreat. In all cases, it is necessary to book accommodation via the website and to make arrangements with the Park operators.
The Park is not a venue for events or commercial activities, and the buildings are not for rent.
It marks the boundary between the externality of the world and the inner world of human beings, trying to produce changes in the internal state of anyone who comes to this place.
Parks portals are inspired in the torii arches of the shinto sanctuaries. They rise indicating a possibility, inviting to exceed a limit, to cross the threshold as to enter other mental spaces and times.
Included among the forms that since ancient times were called 'axis of the world' believed to conect heaven and earth. In different cultures literature , ladders, vines, trees and mountains are different ways to access to heaven. As several children's stories tell, as well as the story of the Wizard Merlin, whose wisdom was nourished by the oak tree; or Jacob, who in a dream saw the scale by which the angels ascended and descended from heaven. Also the Egyptian obelisks fulfilled that role, they symboled the rays of their solar god.In each Park a monolith of stainless steel fixes the space-time coordinates when each Park was created. In this historical Park of Punta de Vacas, the inscription 1969-1999 recalls the first public appearance of Silo, today this monolith is located in the same place, and also the foundation of the Park 30 years later, when we celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of the creation of the Humanist Movement.
Since the beginning, human beings have sought or built enclosures where it was possible to connect with a higher reality. Thus different cultures used glades, caves in the mountains and islands, with the character of sacred places.Rounded buildings, mandorlicas, terraced, topped with domes, cones, needles, with minarets. Among them are the large 'stupas' of hemispherical shape topped in a conoid, now scattered around India and other Asian countries.La Sala (the chamber or Meditation Room) was inspired by them, but while these are closed and inaccessible places, our Meditation Rooms are open, empty and without icons, images or symbols. A place arranged to be filled by people.Externally, they seek to drive the eyes upwards without any interruption. Inside them there is an empty hemispherical space, in which people sit in a concentric circular way, all in the same level. The spherical shape of the Meditation room makes you feel included in it and to experience a deep connection with oneself.
Represents allegorically the fusion of feminine and masculine principles as the source of all energy.
A Parkban található műhely a tűz mesterséghez kapcsolódó munkáknak ad otthont.
